Back to School Essentials

Well, it's that time of year again. Back to school! Definitely the best part of going back to school are those fresh new pair of shoes and that cute new purse or backpack. But you can't forget it's a great excuse to buy new makeup! It's really important to bring a few needed essentials to school. I bought this flower printed cosmetics bag ($3-4) from target and it fits everything perfectly. I've noticed that the bigger the bag I use the more stuff I will fill it with so I try to keep the cosmetics bag to a smaller size just for more simple essentials. Inside it I usually put products that I would normally carry in my purse. To start with I have my Clean & Clear Oil absorbing sheets because those are a MUST for school. Your constantly outside and in the sun and the oil on your face will build up. Next I have my Covergirl "Ready Set Gorgeous" powder in 115-120 light/pale. This powder is perfect to freshen up during the day and it's also in a compact so it has the mirror and sponge applier. It's super cheap and you can also pick this up at your nearest drugstore for around $5-7.
Next I have a small lotion and you'll never believe how useful this has been for not only me but also my friends. I've been in school for 3 weeks now and I have seriously almost finished it. I'm using Pure Seduction by Victoria Secret and it smells amazing. It's only 2 fl oz because it is the travel size and came with some other lotions also so I'm unsure of the exact price but it is from Victoria Secret and they are still selling it. Next I have my Burts Bees chapstick and this is defiantly a holy grail product. I bring that sucker with me everywhere as you can tell by the picture you can no longer see the label, oops lol. You can purchase this at any drugstore and they range from $3-4 also very cheap. Lastly I have my mascara. It's the Covergirl "Flamed out" Water Resistant Mascara in Very black. I use this for touchups or if I rub my eye throughout the day and feel like most of it came off. Also the water proof part actually makes it sweat proof which is much needed on a hot school day.
And that's a wrap! I know that was verrrrryyy long but this was a post I really wanted to elaborate on. It's really important to carry one of these cosmetics bags because they will come in handy A LOT. With all that being said your set for a successful day at school. Until next time! <3

Mascara Favortie

I recently went back to school (school related post coming soon) and have been trying a lot of new makeup looks. I have been so in love with "The Super Sizer" by Covergirl. I heard sooo many good things about this mascara but I was so content with my "Better than Sex" by Too Faced mascara that I was unsure if I really needed a new one. But I can say buying that mascara was defiantly not a mistake! It makes your lashes extremely long but it doesn't really have the thickening part. I don't mind that especially because I wear it mostly to school where I just want length and not exactly thickness. I would 100% recommend this to everyone because it's affordable and you can grab it at your nearest drugstore and even Ulta which is really convenient. It ranges at about $7.49. I also included a picture of me wearing it to helps you have a visual of what it really looks like compared to me going on about it without you guys actually having any "proof". This picture was actually taken after a long day at school (hence why my bottom eyeliner is only visible on one eye) to show what it looks like at the end of the day. I hope you all enjoyed! See you next time!

Nail Favorite

Back with a fav! This one is for you nail lovers (: I have the brand sinful colors in the color 113 dream on. I've had this color for so long and I'm obsessed with it. It dries super fast and even turns matt afterm just one coat. I usually apply two or three coast since I can't apply a clear coat do to the fact that it dries matt and the clear coat would change that. It's super affordable ranges from around 2.99-3.99 and you can purchase it at Walmart! That's all for now (:

Makeup Products used for Summer

With summer coming to an end I thought I would share what makeup products I used. Over the summer I usually go for a basic look nothing to harsh or heavy. I stick with a light bb cream like the one shown in the picture which is by Garnier with an SPF of 20. I have this product in the shade light/medium and it's so thin. I love it because I can use a powder on top without it being cakey or too heavy. The powder I used was the Rimmel stay matte long lasting pressed powder. I've been using this powder for seriously so long as you can see it looks a little thrashed but I'm in love with it! Definitely will be repurchasing! Next is my favorite mascara of the summer. You can't exactly read it from the picture but it's the Covergirl lashblast volume in very black. I love this mascara because it's waterproof and does exactly what it says it should which is give my lashes crazy volume. For eyeshadow I used the Naked 2 Basics pallet by Urban Decay. It has very natural shades and then a white-ish cream color for the brow bone. Truthfully I used this everyday because it was perfect for a pop of color but still looked natural. To prime my face I used hangover by Too Faced. I love this primer because it feels like a moisturizer when I'm applying it to my face but isn't to thick. Last but not least is my beauty blender and I use it to apply my bb cream. I usually only use my beauty blender if I am applying something light or a bb cream/cc cream not a heavy foundation. And that's a wrap for my summer look! Hope you enjoyed <3

Oil Absorbing Sheets

Back with a beaUty favorite! I just HAD to share these oil absorbing sheets they are amazing! They are the Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets. I seriously bring these everywhere with me! They are perfect for in your purse or gym bag and since school is starring you can defiantly stick them in your backpack. These sheets instantly soak up excess oil without smudging makeup or leaving behind powder. They are incredibly soft and super thin. I honestly use at least two a day because I have really oily skin. I like to use them when I first wake up before washing my face because that's when I find my face to be the most oily. They are also super easy to find, I get mine at Target and CVS but you can get yours at any drugstore. I know they have so many different kinds of oil blotting sheets but I am so familiar with Clean & Clear that I knew they wouldn't disappoint or be expensive. Well that's all for today! See you soon!

Skincare Review!

And I'm back! This is one for the skincare books. I want to rave about my new scrub which I am in LOVE with. It's the St. Ives blackhead clearling scrub. I love it because it smells sooooo good and it feels so refreshing on my skin. It fights my breakouts and even calms the redness on my skin. It's 100% natural which is great for your skin! The green tea in the product makes the scrub smell amazing and thats a big factor to me and could be to you too. You really want to look for a cleanser or scrub that has some percentage of salicylic acid in it because that acid is what helps keep those nasty breakouts away. I also love the fact that I can purchase it at any nearby drugstore! It usually ranges from about $3.87- $4.49 which is SO cheap! I have yet to try any other prodcuts from this brand but I plan to soon. Well that's all I have for you today, hope you enoyed my review (:

Sunscreen/Tanning lotion #Summer

Alright here it is! My very first beaUty post! I want to share with all of you my favorite sunscreen and tanning lotion of the summer. It is very important to protect your skin under the hot sun. Tanning lotion may not be the first thing you want to put on right when you get outside. You always want to start out your hot summer day with a sunscreen of about spf 30 or more. I recommend this Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry-touch sunscreen. It also has an spf of 55 which is GREAT! I love it espically for my face because it tends to be very sensitive when it comes to sunscreens but this Neutrogena one works great with my face. I am however using the travel size because they are perfect to throw in your beach bag or your purse. If you do not already own or have tried it this, it is a MUST!!

This tanning lotion has saved my life (okay not really but you know what I mean)! The tube is almost empty! Anytime I am laying out by the pool or at the beach I apply this sucker all over. This is the Banana Boat Lotion with green tea of an spf of 8. Let me tell you, I made the horrible mistake of applying this and only this one day at the pool and it fried my skin, so for those of you with fair skin who burn easy I recommend putting on a regular sunscreen with a high spf before you apply this. I have to say I prefer a tanning lotion WAYYY more than an oil. The oil leaves my skin shinny and very oilly (obviously) which does not please me at all. Strangely enough I really like the way it smells and I actually would have to say all of Banana Boats products smell very good to me! I will most definitely be repurchasing this product! See you soon!

Also these products can be found at your nearest drugstore if you plan on purchasing them (:
